In yo face!!! (quite literally actually)

"Why do you like Bombay?? It sucks!!!!! ewwwww"

Yeah. After living in this city for a while, you develop a thick skin. You become immune to comments like these, and to life in general. A lot of people say that after living in Bombay for a particular number of years, you get genetically re-modified to never like any other place as much!!!! Which brings us to the question...

..Why EXACTLY do we love Bombay???

I mean, honestly *removes rose colored glasses* yes it DOES suck. It would take a brain-dead person to actually say that it doesn't have its faults. Bombay is, in reality, a large sprawling slum masquerading as a mega-city. Slumdog Millionaire was an gross exaggeration, but it wasn't THAT far away from the bullseye as we would like to believe.

I'm tired of standing up for my city. Tired of trying to explain what draws me to it, keeps me in it, appeals to me. Its like a boyfriend/girlfriend that your friends don't like. No one knows why you're with him/her. No one understands why you love him/her. Everyone thinks you can do better.

Well, all I have to say is........

....You don't know her like I do!!!!! And once you do....you can't help but fall in love!!!!:D :D :D
